The host Siraj is shady and creepy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, but it is an ABSOLUTE NO FOR SOLO FEMALE TRAVELLERS. (This review may not show amongst other 100s of great reviews, but please apply the filter of "lowest score" and you will be able to see the pattern when it comes to female travellers especially traveling solo)

The owner is very creepy, immediately started flirting with me, touching me all over my back and my thigh, and saying "i like you", and didn't entirely stop after i said that i wasn't interested. As a solo female, this made my stay really stressful. AVOID if you're a female. Very unprofessional behaviour. Otherwise the rooms and property is very nice.

Worth experience in India. The room was super small, dirty and very hot compared to outside, I woke up a couple of times during the night for some insects walking on me. Wifi is very slow. The worst part for me is the owner, never a good morning or a smile during our stay. We also asked him to keep the luggage until 4pm( the hotel was empty) he said no worries you can stay in the room, when we went back to take the luggage, he pretended money for a late check out. Not honest

No attached bathroom.||No geyser.||No toiletries. ||Hard bed.||No AC.||Bugs all around.||Too much expensive food.||Rude & commanding host.||Bad approach road. ||Property is on the other side of river, far from the monuments.

The guidebooks will recommend staying in the village to get away from the hippies - and as much as that might seem a good idea, there are pros and cons to consider.||||The village is very secluded and the only place we found to eat for dinner was the guesthouse HQ, for which the 400 rupes was not justifiable or atmospheric at all. Although I do recommend their breakfast for 200 rupes. Instead of hippies the company there were American pensioners off a tour bus, who were a bit entitled and frustrating to be around. Although the other clientele will be changeable, what Id say is that you will be somewhat isolated with whoever is there- I would have preferred the main strip.||||The people in the village hassled us quite extensively for money, chocolate and other bits and I felt they were petty jaded with the incoming tourists, as I also become pretty jaded with them!||||The road to the guesthouse is 7km of extremely stoney, pothole filled terrain and there were many occasions I didnt go out because I didnt want to face the uncomfortable moped ride (its as bad in a tuc tuc).||||The bathrooms at the guesthouse are outside and I wasnt I fan of walking through a building in my pajamas to

This is a Vintage property turned into a guest house. Rooms are very small but tidy and clean. There are multiple rooms and bathrooms in the property. Suitable for groups and long stays. Very affordable and the caretaker is very friendly. There is also a kitchen, refrigerator and seating area. Overall unique experience...

It was a beautiful stay in the heart of Anegundi village. The host, Siraj, was very welcoming and made the experience even better. My stay at Peshaghar was truly memorable — it’s a 100-year-old house with a beautiful ambience. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hampi or Anegundi.

It was a great stay with full traditional old Hampi vibes 🏛️✨ The property is well maintained, and the host is extremely helpful — he has great local contacts for everything you might need in Hampi. The location is also very convenient, with all major adventure activities just 10–20 minutes away 🚗🌿

Exceptional service: The host will organize everything u can think of: Transport, bicycle rental (very useful in Hampi), dinner cooked by local families, transport, and can give yiu lots of advice on where to go and what to see. Spaces are decent though not exceptional - generally a really nice experience.
